My work to date is all hand made. It is important that this is seen, so the raising marks, uneven rims and unfiled solder seams are left. The majority of my work is about portraying different feelings and emotions by combining various materials and manipulating their many qualities to express the intentions. Silver is seen as an enduring metal, whereas steel rusts; eats itself away and is not seen as precious. Where necessary the steel has been preserved with bees wax to protect itself. Most of the work shown is not designed with a specific function; that is up to the customer to determine.
